Statistical Investigation

In maths we try to make an investigation about the population of New Zealand at the last census 2013 but we have to predict the population of New Zealand in 2018 the year of the next census

Every student in year 8 is doing Statistical investigation we choose 11 different work but we choose the number 8 that is In 2013 (the year of the last census) there were approximately 4.4 million people living in New Zealand.  Find out more about our population and use the statistics to predict what the population of New Zealand might look like after the census this year.  E.g. Ethnicity, ages, populations of different towns and cities.

M&M Maths

I have made a bar graph and a pie graph of M&M's and we use a shortcut to add the number
and i learn how to use shortcut and I found out that Group 1 had 1 more M&M's than Group 2.
I found it easier to use a pie graph when I want to find out how many M&M's are in Group 1's pocket
The most common colour in our group is red

Today i learn a shortcut in a computer and how to make a graph
